This week Arcos Gardens hosted the top EGU golf coaches meeting. They spent some quality time together to share specialities and learn for each other. Even though it was unusually a bit cold they had a great time .

After four very impressive rounds of golf could Santiago Luna (on picture above) comfortably take the victory at the second qualifying stage in Arcos Gardens. After a final round of 69 (-3) shots could the Spanish favourite take the win 5 shots ahead of Englands James Ruth. The top 21 players at Arcos Gardens will play the final qualifying stage starting next thursday 13th Nov in PGA Catalunya close to Barcelona. Arcos Gardens wish all players best of luck in the final where the first 30 players and ties will get a full membership of the European Tour for 2009.

Arcos Gardens will host an Boys & Girls amateur event between the 2nd and 5th of January 2009 called the Arcos Gardens Nordic Challenge 2009. Practice round - 2nd Jan & Round 1-3 - 3rd to 5th Jan.
